Keeping an eye on new homebuilders.
Houses are being built at record pace which means it's more important than ever for buyers of new construction to have the builder's work inspected at critical phases to make sure the job is done right.
New Construction Inspections are performed during the following phases:
- Pre-Slab -- Inspection of the grading, footers, and plumbing sets. Occasionally, upon request, we provide an additional inspection immediately after the slab has been poured.
- Pre-Dry Wall-- Inspection of the slab, framing, electrical runs, plumbing sets, and roof.
- Final Inspection -- The inspector evaluates the finished home as if he were performing a resale inspection on a home he's never seen before. This inspection covers every detail of the home including the foundation and structure, roof system and attic, electrical system, plumbing, air conditioning and ductwork, grading and drainage, and major appliances.
- We can be called out to inspect individual items of concern at anytime during the construction process.
